Copywriting for a UI/UX Design Agency: Boundless Bits
Website Copywriting, Brand Messaging, Case Study writing
Boundless Bits is the go-to UI/UX design agency for SaaS startups looking to launch and grow enterprise-grade digital products.
As Ivan Annikov prepared to officially shift from a freelancer to an agency model, he wanted to reposition his brand and use fun, engaging messaging to show why companies love working with his team. We set out to engage readers with clear, conversational copy for an enjoyable and easy-to-read website that would mirror the experience of working with Boundless Bits.

Research & Strategy
We started with my signature research process: a 3-hour strategy session with Ivan, client interviews and testimonial analysis, and researching competitors and SEO keywords.
Clients described Boundless Bits not only as responsive, experienced designers but as a true extension of their team who consistently delivered quality work on schedule. We knew we wanted our messaging to emphasize these points, along with the brand’s friendly, cooperative tone.
During our competitive analysis, we noticed that agency websites can feel impersonal because they often focus less on engaging the client and more on themselves and their brand with lots of "we" statements. Some of Ivan’s competitors used so many buzzwords that sentences became long, clunky, and hard to read.
Instead, we aimed to engage readers and spark long-term partnerships with clear, conversational copy that would speak directly to what clients want and need.
Brand Messaging
Drawing on our research, we began creating messaging to communicate the Boundless Bits experience.
Together, we developed Boundless Bits’ mission statement, unique value proposition, brand story, ideal client profile, messaging guidelines, brand lines, and more copy.
We knew we wanted a one-liner that the brand could use to quickly communicate what they do, who they serve, and why it matters. We landed on, "The product design people behind beautifully intuitive B2B SaaS" — using “people” to emphasize their humanity in a high-tech industry, and succinctly summing up their work as “beautifully intuitive.”
One of my favorite lines was one we created to express Ivan’s conviction that B2B SaaS products should be every bit as beautiful and easy to use as the leading consumer-facing apps. We came up with "Built for businesses. Designed for humans." and Ivan turned this line into a clean and modern wordmark for his brand.
Website Copywriting
Ivan wanted a simple, one-page website to give his audience what they needed to know without any fluff. So we created friendly, straightforward copy to pack plenty of personality and information into a single page — check it out here!
We kept copy concise and focused on how prospective clients could achieve their goals by partnering with Boundless Bits. To truly show the benefits of working with them, we incorporated mini-case studies into the site, capturing each client’s win in less than 100 words. On top of that, we produced one in-depth case study to show how Boundless Bits helped one startup client go from a minimum viable product to $78 million in funding during their two-year collaboration.
In connection with this project, we also created website copy for Luma Studios, a sub-brand of Boundless Bits, focused on fast and affordable marketing and web design services.
For me, what made this project even more special was collaborating with Ivan and his team at each phase of our work together — especially when it came to incorporating the copy into the design because the Boundless Bits team created the site themselves. I may not be an expert in the tech world or software product design, but it’s always exciting to partner with a business owner whose expertise differs from mine and to see the magic that happens when we put our heads together.
And a special thanks to my go-to editor, Ellen Edits, for her support and collaboration on this process!
With a website that finally communicates the incredible experience of working with Boundless Bits, Ivan is now ready to attract more of the right clients and continue expanding his team of dedicated designers.
“Kelsey created copy for our marketing site that resonates with our target audience without sacrificing the authenticity of our brand. She is super reliable, and working with her was a breeze!”
– Ivan Annikov, Boundless Bits
More lines we loved:
“We help B2B startups blast through design bottlenecks and build their best ideas yet.”
“Because going from idea to V1 should be as simple as sending a Slack message.”
“Dedicated designers. Seamless collaboration. Faster results.”
